Thank you for choosing Titan Training (“Trainer”) and beginning your fitness journey. Together, and with your hard work, we will achieve your goals.
It is important to follow program guidelines during in-person training sessions and unsupervised training days. Do keep in mind that nutrition is equally as important as training!
In consideration of the mutual promises exchanged herein and other good and valuable considerations, the parties Client and Trainer agree as follows:
1. Commitment: By purchasing personal training sessions (“Sessions”), the Client is committing to his/her health. Clients should follow the program and instruction of trainers to the best of their ability to maximize their results and better achieve their goals. The ultimate results are up to the Client: Trainer will show the Client how to work their muscles correctly and encourage them to go to their safe limit, but the Client is ultimately responsible for making sure they work out consistently, eat properly, get enough sleep, and live a healthy lifestyle.
2. Specifics: Trainer and Client shall agree upon the time, program type, content, and location of Sessions at the rate outlined in this agreement under Training Rate.
3. Length of Sessions: Sessions will last approximately one hour.
4. Punctuality: The client shall be attired as discussed below and ready to train at the specified time (as agreed upon above in section 2). Failure to be prepared to train may result in a shortened workout or possible cancellation of the Session if the Client is more than 15 minutes late. The client is encouraged to arrive 10-15 minutes early to warm up before the session.
5. Attire: The client must wear acceptable training attire (including but not limited to T-shirts, shorts, tights, sweatpants, etc.) and supportive and functional athletic shoes. Please consult with the Trainer if you require advice on proper attire.
6. Stopping Exercises: The client may refuse or stop any exercise for any reason. It is the Client’s responsibility to notify the Trainer of any discomfort or pain arising from or during an exercise, as well as any other known limitations the Client has or experiences so that the Trainer may accommodate the Client and substitute for another exercise.
7. Payment: Payment must be made in advance of Sessions in one lump sum to cover the two-month training block unless otherwise specified. The trainer accepts email money transfers, cash, and cheques. Any NSF fees resulting from insufficient funds will be forwarded to the Client.
8. Assessments: The client must complete a PAR-Q assessment before the first training Session. PAR-Q must be completed as accurately as possible, and the Trainer must be notified of any conditions that may affect training (heart conditions, etc.). A Fitness Assessment will be performed during the first Session to gauge the present fitness baseline.
9. Liability Waiver: The client must read and sign the Liability Waiver before the commencement of training sessions.
10. Respecting the Facility: The client must adhere to facility guidelines concerning gym etiquette, language, attire, and conduct (i.e. returning equipment, respecting other members, etc.).
11. Changes: The client agrees to notify the Trainer of any changes to their health that may affect their safety with regards to training.
12. Cancellation Policy: The trainer must receive a minimum of 24 hours notice of any training session cancellation. Canceled sessions will be rescheduled or added to the end of the training block. If 24 hours' notice is not received by the Trainer the session will not be rescheduled.
13. Refunds: Session blocks are non-refundable.
You acknowledge that you have carefully read this agreement and fully understand Trainer’s policies.
